WH Smith – EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS 2013

On Monday June17th Jim’s Class were invited to visit WH Smith in Chepstow, where they were the grateful recipients of £200 worth of ‘Educational Achievement Vouchers’ as part of the 2013  WH Smith Trust Schools Giveaway.

For the second year running and with the kind help of Regional Manager Lisa Gillins, deserving students at Chepstow School were able to benefit from this kind donation. Lisa, a Chepstow resident herself, met the group early on Monday morning and along with Store Manager Victoria Whitehouse and Supervisior Stephen Tovey, assisted students in choosing a wealth of educational and fun items from the store.

In addition to Jim’s Class benefiting from some new resources, each student was given Achievement Vouchers to spend on personal items to enjoy at home. They were all very pleased with their choices!

Jim’s Class would like to thank Lisa and her colleagues at the Chepstow store for their kind help and consideration. We very much appreciate the gesture.
